Terms of Service

FastIQ is a study platform for university students and other learners. You can upload course materials as PDF, Word (.docx), and plain text (.txt) files, and FastIQ generates study content from them, including summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study guides, and mock exams. FastIQ also provides Study Chat and progress analytics to support your studying.

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use FastIQ.
• You may delete your account at any time from your settings.

You retain ownership of the materials you upload and of the study content FastIQ generates from them. Your materials are private to your account. You grant FastIQ permission to store and process your materials solely to provide the service to you, for example, to generate summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study guides, and mock exams, and to power Study Chat.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use the materials you provide, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate your institution's policies.

You agree not to:

• Upload materials you do not have the right to use, or that are unlawful or infringing.
• Use FastIQ to cheat, or in any way that violates the academic integrity rules of your school, exam board, or institution.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorised access to FastIQ or its systems.
• Resell, redistribute, or share access to FastIQ without our permission.

FastIQ generates study content automatically, and while we work to make it accurate and useful, it may occasionally contain mistakes. You should review generated content and use your own judgement, especially for high-stakes exams.

• FastIQ offers a Free plan with daily limits on generated study content.
• New accounts include a one-month Pro trial with full Pro access and no payment required. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe.
• The Pro subscription unlocks unlimited study generation and premium features. Pro is billed monthly through Paystack and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.

By subscribing to Pro, you agree to these Terms and to our Refund Policy.

You may stop using FastIQ and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the service or other users at risk. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold a paid subscription, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

We work to keep FastIQ available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve FastIQ. We will not make changes that materially reduce the core Pro features you are paying for during a billing period without offering you a fair option.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for exam outcomes, academic results, or decisions made in reliance on generated study content. FastIQ is a study aid and does not replace your own preparation and judgement.

We may update these Terms as FastIQ evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the product. Continuing to use FastIQ after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
