We collect only what we need to run FastIQ and improve your studying experience:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password credentials, which are stored securely on trusted cloud infrastructure. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Study materials you upload: the PDF, Word (.docx), and plain text (.txt) files you provide, along with the summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study guides, and mock exams FastIQ generates from them.
• Study activity: your progress, quiz results, planner entries, and Study Chat conversations, which power your analytics and personalised experience.
• Optional preferences: details you choose to share during sign-up, such as what you are studying for, your subjects, and your exam date.
• Billing information: when you subscribe, payments are securely processed by Paystack. FastIQ does not store your full debit or credit card details; we retain a record of your plan and subscription status.

• To generate summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study guides, mock exams, and Study Chat responses from the materials you upload.
• To maintain your account, track your study progress, and show your analytics.
• To manage your Free plan, Pro trial, and Pro subscription.
• To respond to support requests and send you essential account and billing notices.
• To keep FastIQ secure, prevent abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded materials to train third-party public models.

The materials you upload belong to you. They are stored privately and are only accessible from your account. Other FastIQ users cannot see your files or the study content generated from them. We access your content only where necessary to provide the service, resolve a support issue you raise, or meet a legal requirement.

FastIQ relies on a small number of trusted, industry-standard services to run securely and reliably. Each receives only the information needed to perform its role:

• Secure cloud infrastructure: stores your account information, uploaded study materials, and the study content generated from them.
• Advanced AI technology: generates your summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study guides, mock exams, and Study Chat responses from the materials you upload.
• Secure payment processing: payments are securely processed by Paystack. FastIQ does not store your full debit or credit card details.

Each partner only receives the information required to perform its role and is held to strict security and confidentiality standards.

We keep your account information and materials for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual materials at any time, and you can delete your entire account from your settings. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information and uploaded materials from our active systems, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

• Access and update your account details from your settings.
• Delete individual uploaded materials at any time.
• Delete your entire account, which removes your materials and personal information from our active systems.
• Cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your paid period.
• Contact us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls that keep each account's data isolated. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data and to respond quickly if an issue arises.

FastIQ is intended for university students and other adult learners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy as FastIQ evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the product.
